We couldn’t say enough great things about Shipp Brothers Brewing! We had already been to SBB in the afternoon a handful of times and had positive experiences, however this evening solidified the very unique spot this is.We came in very close to closing time knowing it would be hit or miss for us to snag a beverage that close to their closing time, as with my personal experience working in the service industry, last call is typically 15-30 minutes prior to the actual closing time of an establishment. However, we were beyond pleasantly surprised (and truly shocked) to be greeted by the owner explaining that the kitchen had just closed, however we were welcome to stay and have drinks- on him free of charge! We said that definitely wasn’t necessary as we hadn’t intended to order food and were only wanting to grab a beverage- yet he insisted.The owner Aaron went above and beyond to not only insist on picking up our tab, but again, after attempting to decline, explain he never minded doing so in order to keep his staff respected (and let’s be honest, there are so many customers that are not always mindful or respectful of operating hours of an establishment, nor staff/restaurant etiquette and think it is totally okay to walk in 2 minutes before closing and expect full service- if you’re reading this and this is shocking to you- it is totally not okay!) Anyhow, after the complementary beverages, we chatted with Aaron and the servers about different things happening in the area and they were completely in the know. It was a breath of fresh air on so many levels.Shipp Brothers Brewing is the example of establishments you want in a community! A place where the owners and staff very visibly support their community and the people that live in it.And that is not even mentioning in detail the incredible beverage selection, menu selection, ambience and dare I say all over “vibe” of the restaurant and brewery! If you haven’t checked this one out, definitely do!Top tier service!

Edit: The review is not at all "misleading" I'm somehow lying about my opinion and experience? We were sat in under a minute as you stated we ordered, and then it took a half hour for our food to arrive. I ordered bacon as an add on to my burger, thank you for not charging me for it since I didn't get it. The chicken was brought out even though we'd declined waiting the "about ten minutes" the hostess ( who was more helpful than the waitress at every point ) told us it would take. I did make an effort after your response but apparently that was for show since you never responded back, that's fine as I stated I won't be back. And I basically leave these review for people I know who trust my opinion I'm not here for anything from you.So when we arrived there were 2 tables we waited 30 minutes from ordering til food arrived. Cobb Salad was missing the chicken, we never got straws, my added bacon wasn't added. The burgers are advertised as smash burgers the aren't. I'd really give this place a half star if it were an option the hostess seemed more skilled than our waitress. Even the other only waitress was more concerned with our wait. Will not return

Service on the patio on this gorgeous Spring day was excellent, attentive. Kiddos!We ordered the Trash Can Nachos and IMHO they were the worst nachos we have ever had. THE WORST!!!! Presented as Nachos in a Can which is then ‘released’ onto a tray leaving the naked chips on the top and all the add-ons, few as they are, on the tray. Never saw any cheddar cheese or cilantro. The chicken we added on, $4.99, was tasty. Nope, we’ll never order this again and suggest you don’t either. Thank god we were here during half price time.Beer—if you enjoy pouring your own beer then go for it! Wide selection. If I wanted to pour my own beer I’d stay home!
